1. oil press. sending unit, goes right above oil filter.2 knock sensor, pass. side engine block in front of starter. 3.temp sensor fan turn on, pass. side head between back 2 plugs.4 not sure, maybe coolant temp sensor , front of intake. 5. sending unit for temp. gauge, driver side head between first 2 plugs.6.same here. hope this is correct, later jimmy
#6 appears to be the cold start injector switch. you don't need it though if you go with an 89 MAF PROM, or a later speed density setup. also, i think the oil pressure sender is just the switch for the fuel pump relay. if it has 3 wires, its a pressure sender, otherwise, you will need a seperate sender for the oil pressure gauge.
Your first one is definitely an oil pressure switch not to be confused with oil gauge sender.
3 & 4 look like engine temp gauge senders, or light switches.
The last one is a coolant type sensor, but not what would I expect for the ECM.
What you should have for an 88 or older TPI[
oil pressure switch for fuel pump (if 3-wire, 3rd wire is for oil light switch, uses sensor body for ground)
if you use teflon sealer, or thread locker you must check for zero ohms from sensor body to engine ground especially on single wire sensors.
oil gauge pressure sender single wire not connected to ECM - left side of diizzy.
knock sensor - right side center above oil pan rail
over-temp, or heavy duty fan relay temp switch - right side near #6 & #8 plugs
Note 3 & 4 uses the same type of connector
cold start temp switch front of intake uses fuel injector type connector
coolant temp sensor for ECM - 2-wire connector - front of intake
engine temp sender - left side near #1 & #3 plugs
I can only upload 3 pictures
from left to right: CTS, oil gauge, engine temp gauge.
