91 long cranking when warm
Hey guys, after my 91 was running and got up to temp. If i shut it off and let it sit for a few, it takes a while to start again. It cranks just fine, just wont fire up. I found the trick is to let it crank for 2 seconds, then stop and repeat like 3 times and it will fire up. When the car is cold, it fires right up. Car runs fine once its running.
Any ideas??? just looking for info before i start tearing into it..
Thanks
Ed

I personally would check timing first, its easy and quick plus at least you will know where its at ! sounds like its a lil retarded, as too advanced would try to "fight" the starter. oh yeah fuel pressure is definitely a priority to check

The coolant sensor in the front of the intake manifold may be bad. The one to the left of the hose that leads to the throttle body.
If it's not that, your injectors may be leaking down.
