MAF Relays
Hello, I'm trying to find new power and burn-off relays, but having problems with the configuration. The harness I have calls for an oval shaped relay, 5 pin, 2 in one line, three in the other. Been to the dealer and napa, their relays are all 5 pin all in one line and rectangular. I bought one fuel pump relay on e-bay that is correct, p/n is 14103304. I had a 91 Suburban, tbi, that had this same relay, dealer said no, they all had the 5 pin in a row. Any ideas on this ? Thanks in advance !

Re: MAF Relays
Relays function the same, regardless of what style they are
If you correctly assign the wiring, a universal square relay will do the job
I would suggest upgrading to the later oval style relay because the old flat ones have a strong tendency to fall apart at the connector shorting the circuit out. You need the correct connector though. Grab one from a JY or PM me for a used original

True, but the question was about using oval relays in place of an older style. In this particular case, wire assignments and function are the same. Battery power in and relay out, call 12v and call grd. The only thing that changed was the relay internals. Its a matter of finding the proper PN for the relay

Re: MAF Relays
Thanks guys, the number I've come up with thru search is 14089936(power and burn-off). Since this is the stock number from the factory, I pressume that is AC/Delco ? This is the oval shaped relay. Sorry to beat this to death, I don't have a stock application so I'm just trying to find the correct relays for the oval shaped plugs. Thanks for all the help !
