Somebody told me that my torque convertor was probably the cause of this problem.

At highway speeds, like from 55-70 and then again from about 80 and up, my car shakes really bad. It doesn't vibrate or rattle, is SHAKES. So is my convertor dying or did this guy not know what he was talking about? I myself dont know much about transmissions.

I thought it might be a timing problem or something

So is this "shake" at wheel sped, driveline speed, or engine speed? That's the first step in diagnosing it, is figuring out which section of the moving parts it's coming from.

First thing I would do is have my tires balanced. When a tire is out of balance it has harmonic qualities that only cause a vibration at certain speeds just as you described. You could have a bent wheel, a warped brake rotor. Does it get worse when you apply the brakes? An axle in the rear could be bent (unlikely unless you hit something pretty hard) or your driveshaft could be out of balance too. I wouldn't go taking out a tranny to change an expensive part like that until I've ruled everything else out. If you want an aftermarket convertor though, let me know. I'm a dealer for them. Hope this helps.

Alignment is perfect, wheels/tires are balanced, front brake rotors were replaced only a couple months before this problem started, wheels aren't bent (had then checked out really good before they were put on), shouldn't be a bent axle (had that happen before and this feels totally different, with the bent axle, I could feel the wobble). I'm now thinking it's the driveshaft or maybe for front-end components need to be replaced.

You could go on for days about what you've replaced and what's new and all that, but without that most basic possible piece of information, you might be working on the entirely wrong end of the car.

The drivershaft could be out of balance, or you could have a bad bearing somewhere in the drivetrain. I've got a bearing in my rear ()that needs to be shimmed and it's vibrating just like you described.

you need to check it like RB83L69 says.

Take it out and get it up to speed, Put it in neutral and see what it does. Then take it home and jack the rear up on jackstands.
Make sure you scotch the front wheels and get it up to speed.

This should help you locate the problem.
