Just finished with 2.73 to 3.70 swap.

I have three things to say about this swap . One full gear incress is nuts. The danm thing will cut the tires loose at 30 mph. I have one problem though. When I turn the car to the right I get this terable howl, from what seem like the front driver side tire. It goes away with brake pressure. Any ideas?

the gears could be set wrong, this could cause the sound.

the sound is from the right front he said. so i doubt it has anything to do with the gears. unless the sound is really from the back, and it just sounds like its from the front.
interesting...

yeah ure right, i didnt even see that part, just assumed since he just got the gears done and he heard a howling sound it was from them not being set up properly

Hey, new87, I am about to do the exact same swap 2.73->3.70.
As far as the howling, maybe the car is no longer in alignment since you swapped rears.
