Transmission: 2004r
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt posi 3.08
What tranny is this?
I have a stock 82 Firebird with a 2.8 auto, whats the tranny thats in the car?
I thought it was a 60 degree 700-R4..
Any help would be great, ty..

Is the 700 r4 something that will bolt to it and a V8, cause if not, I will hold out with it till the V8 swap goes through..

No.
The 700 comes either with the V8 pattern, or the 6-cyl pattern; not both.

SO if the trans has OD on it, then its a 700r4 not that 200 c?

yes, 200C's were 3 speed, 700R4's were OD transmissions.
