9 bolt or '92 10 bolt with pbr calipers
i found a '92 10 bolt with posi, disk brakes, pbr aluminum calipers, and 3.42 gears for 450 bucks. i can find a 9 bolt with basically the same gears & posi for under 200.
both are stock but the 10 bolt comes with master cylinder & proportioning valve for rear disk brakes.
either way i would be miles ahead of my 10 bolt 2.73 peg leg!
opinions?
thank's!

my advice...go to the junkyard and get the LS1 rear end...they cost the same as the 92 rear end....if i had the $ i wouldve gone with LS1 rear end, but i was stupid and i have to pray that my posi will hold out......9 bolt parts are pretty hard to come by

IMO don't waste your time with a 9 bolt.

I agree, 9 bolts are good if you are restoring a car to factory specs. I just dumped the 9bolt from my car and installed a 10-bolt with PBR brakes and earl's hyperfeel steel brake lines. While I was there, i dropped a Torsen T2R in there and the thing powers thru corners like it is on rails....
+11enty billion on the 10-bolt, PBR and T2R.
