Shift cable help
I have a plastic press fit connector on the end of my shift cable that connects the cable to the transmission shift lever. It came off and now wont stay on. Is there a locking ring or piece or does it just press on? How would I change the plastic piece, get a whole new cable. I put a bolt with two nuts against each other to hold it now, but the shift action feels a littel weird.
