700r4 valve body sticking valve
I recently rebuilt a 700r4 for my car, after installing i was getting a really early 1-2 shift, at any throttle it always seemed to shift before 2000rpm, I have a corvette governor in it, so i no at wide open it should shift way later then this. So i pulled my valve body took it all apart, cleaned and reinstalled everything, as i was checking everything i noticed that on the 1-2 shift valve train, the valve furthest in gets stuck at the bottom of the bore sometimes when moving it back and forth, then when i wiggle it with my magnet it comes free, could this cause my early shift or is it probably somthing else? Is there away to clean the bore so that the valve wont get stuck there?
