Rearend Swap

I'm doing an LS1 sway and will have a complete rearend from a 98 transam, will a 4gen rearend bolt into an 89 thirdgen if not, what needs tobe done?

The 4th gen rear end will bolt in, but it is a little wider.

yes it can be done, here is a pic of the lt1 style i have in my car with the stock wheels, just can't have the car full of people on bumpy roads....
