I have a 700r4 and the tranny pan is leaking bad and I just replaced the gasket and sealed the gasket and torqued it all down right and it still leaks but I think it is because I used the tranny pan off a 700r4 that was on a v6 cuz the tranny pan on the motor and tranny that I have got dented and before I put it on they looked the same. Would this be my problem??

Someone told me where it is leaking to take a punch and hammer and to bend the lip on the tranny pan alittle bit because its only leaking in one spot.

I found out that it was the kick down cable was leaking and replaced the o-ring and the leak has stopped
