help with speedometer
hi im having a problem getting speedo to work. first to make long story short i had to replace the drive gear retainer on my input shaft to locate drive gear to the right position. i put tailshaft housing back on and installed the speed sensor but the drive gear still will not mesh with the driven gear on sensor. does anybody have any suggestions? i am sure the drive gear is in correct spot on input shaft (first hole closest to transmission) both gears are red in color, the driven gear is 37 tooth, the drive gear is red so im assuming its a 17 tooth. i think my axle ratio is 2.77 (1 turn on wheel=2 3/4 on driveshaft) has 9 bolts on diff cover
