The code 15 fix

Being that I couldn't pull that stupid plug , I need to find a way to get rid of the code 15. Any ideas? Dale? AM91? Anybody?

By plug, I assume that you are talking about the connector plug. About the only way to get rid of your code 15 is to replace the coolant temp sensor (CTS).

.......

There isn't one....... You misunderstood. I did a 2.8-3.4 conversion. I do not have aplace to install the sensor. How my I allow the sensor to read properly? That's all...

Not near my tech data, what is the Code 15? Only codes I got from swap were for running rich (tps & maf issues) & extinguish fire please

I didn't remove that plug in the back of the head either.

tHE SENSOR i'M TALKING ABOUT IS THE BYTCH OF A ONE IN THE REAR PASS HEAD, THIS GOES TO SWITCH THE FAN ON.

i ALSO HAD 3 OTHER TEMP SENSORS, 1 FOR THE ecm (BY THE WATER NECK), 1 FOR THE cst (ALSO BY THE WATER NECK) AND A THIRD IN THE DRIVERS SIDE FRONT HEAD, CADDY CORNER FROM THE PASS SIDE SENSOR. THIS IS FOR THE GAUGE.

i REPLCED THE PASS HEAD SENSOR W/AFTERMARKET FAN SWITCH W/PROBE THAT GOES INBETWEEN THE RADIATOR COOLING FINS.

yeah, cap locks was on & it too long to go back & change

EDIT: on the upside, w/the a/c pressure switch jumpered, the way the fan switch is wired, anytime I "turn" the a/c on, the fan kicks in, should be neat for track cool downs

that's the one..

I don't know why IT is throwing the code 15 though. I thought it was just the fan switch.... I guess I'll scan the car again tommorow and see what it says. Maybe it was the CTS, if so, good. T^hat still doesn't explain why my fan is on constantly.....
