Car passed Smogcheck
Well it passed legally again with flying colors- You never know in the great B.S. state of California. I hadn't seen my buddy for a few years(owns a smog station) and it was good to here that he cal still "take care of me" if I just stick the PF&E headers on. He promised me he'll be around for years, and that there is no way they will ever regulate things so tightly that I can't get by the "visual" portion of the test.
Frikin local politicians- The Visual part is a &^%$#@ money game for state revenue. If smog checks where on the up & up, then they would just leave the hood closed and put the sniffer in the tailpipe- But they don't. If it burns clean- who gives a riff whats under the hood!
Had to vent, stress builds up every two years leading up to this crap.

Have 1.52 rockers also, polished intake until the injectors, fuel pressure bumped up-thats what I was worried about, runs a little rich-and cool too. Running temp is closed loop, but barely (idles consistantly at 172*)
