Hedman Headers

Hey everyone. I have a friend who is parting out his 2.8. I have a 92 3.1 and he is going to give me his headers. They are the old school Hedman ones. i was wondering if i should take them. I know i would have to get rid of the EGR system. What else would have to go? Oh and how many of you reccomend i get them from him? No emission laws in florida or smog. So whats your advice?

Bitchin! Take em, you can deal with the lack of egr, you'll like having hedders. Get his intake manifold, throttle body, upper and lower plenum too. Port the crap otta the plenum and intake then get yourself a nice cam

i've actually got the hooker headers but from what i hear they are exactly the same. if you can get them cheap or free, GET THEM! i think you'll like them. the only problem is that you'll have to get a custom y-pipe made. but, they are pretty good headers. if you want them powder or ceramic coated...send them a little ways north (to me).
