starter motor from summit
Does summit sell starter motor suitable to 3.1L Camaro? I need to order my parts in same place or else the delivery costs to Finland goes astronomical. The OEM number of the starter is 10455016.

I've had my original V6 starter on my cars since 1985! And I have two examples.
I have the original starter on my 1974 Chevy. Which I finally rebuilt cause I figure it was due. And that was motor only & replace the solinoid.
ANY starter problems come down to the wiring to starter.
Starters weigh a TON!
AND can be easily rebuilt by "anyone". For like $10-$15. Except solinoid.
I consider myself an automotive idiot and I can do a starter rebuild if needed. Sand papaer, couple of sockets and other "weapons" and you're done.
But serious start replacing wires to down there for your starter solutions.
How do you know if starter is original?
The starters are dated stamped. Last year of the numbers is a 2 digit number. As in year.

Yeah, it ain't original (much too big, have to use oilfilter relocation kit) and it's been already rebuild once, so I figuired it's best to stop fooling around and get an direct placement one.
