Progress on headers and intake

Any news on the headers for the 3.1??? Also is the tru leo intake out yet, is it on anyones car? And alan please tell me your intake/tb is coming out soon? Next mod will be headers then intake. I have the money but nothing to spend it on performance wise, anybody got any other mod i should do to add power?

also i rode in a 305 4 barrel 87 iroc today with 350 heads, headers, 3inch flowmaster exhaust, edelbrock intake manifold, full ignition. That bitch got up and moved w/ stock rear and tranny. Hopefully one day when im done modding the 3.1 i can take him.

The Trueleo intake is available; you can purchase one through their website:
http://www.trueleo.com

I only know of two that are on cars yet, and one of them is Redraif's. We finally got some time to finish up our install, and just have to set the TPS (we're using a Ford/Accufab throttle body, and the adjustment range is different...having to slot the mounting holes). It should be completely finished tomorrow, with dyno figures to come soon.
If you don't care about CARB legal parts, PF&E makes nice stainless headers.

I would get one of those intakes if they weren't so expensive.

Considering that they come with a chip (which is custom tailored to your car), and are powdercoated, its not as bad. I could build one cheaper...emphasis on one... and not paying myself for labor...but considering the investment they had to make in CNC machined flanges, I'm surprised they can sell them as cheaply as they do. Even cheaper aftermarket intakes for more common fuel injected V8s ( 5.0 Mustangs for example) are in the low $400s. Price a base and runners for a TPI and you will spend well over $600, and none of them come with a custom burned chip. Most places would charge at least $150 for that alone, esp considering they will alter it as needed.
BTW Redraif's is running now...still working on a TPS issue, but that should be resolved soon.

Everything on my car has to be emissions legal, md is really sticked. I guess ill just save $900 for when the headers and plenum/tb are available
