I am curious. I am upgrading my brakes to the c6 z06 brakes etc... Can I rock the 2010 camaro wheels??? Has anyone done this yet?

2010 camaro have 20 inch wheels which is probably the ones u are referreing to so yes there should be plenty of room.. since the z06 only run a 20/19 or 19/18 ratio on the wheels i believe. but if im wrong anyone feel free to correct me

The problem won't be diameter, it will be caliper-to-spoke clearance. I doubt there will be a problem since those wheels almost certainly require spacers. The SS Brembos are wide just by themselves, if they clear those I'd bet they clear the zo6 stuff.

I was thinking the same thing. I know the bolt pattern is different then z06. I just need to buy some nice looking wheels to fit the z06 upgrade.

That's a difference of less than 2/10 of an inch. I've bolted 2010 SS wheels to my car and they fit the hub fine. (5x4.75in=5x120.65mm). Factory camaro tire clearance was another issue entirely.

You need spacers either way so tell whoever makes them you want 5x120 if it makes you feel better.

So even though I already purchased the hub, rotor, its not too late?? Sorry I am learning as I building the car. Im a house builder so this is a bit new to me.

You've already bought the conversion hubs and zo6 rotors? Yes, it's not too late because you'll still need to buy bolt on wheel spacers(they're really called wheel adapters because they're so thick, around two inches)

Well I'm not sure if you need exactly 2" spacers because I don't know the exact offset of the SS wheels. However, I'm saying that since you will need to buy spacers/adapters anyways the "bolt pattern" of the hub/rotor combo won't matter.

Having said that when I fit front SS wheels w/ my c6 z06 brakes and 2" spacers it was real close to being perfect but I didn't do any measuring because the tire size was so far off.

Gotcha, So then what sizes of the ss wheels would you recommand that I get and tire sizes. Its should be the same and fit the same as your set up then? Got pics?

Now I remember your s/c I saw your build page with the brakes. Did you ever get your rear brakes done too? U still work at the GM dealership? So if you upgrade your wheels to ss, then what are you going to do with the c6 wheels?

I don't know what size tires. I don't run those wheels. I tried them on my car when I worked at a GM dealership and immediately took them off because they were narrower than what I had already. I no longer work at a GM dealer though.

Oh, okay! Yeah, I'm still using the c6 wheels. I haven't really decided on a new set. I run these because they were so cheap. ($400 for the set)
