looking into a set of wheels and when i was going to see the cost i noticed the preset data wasnt meant for my car but i know i can make them fit so i kept going. it asked for hub diameter size and i didnt know what to go with. clearly i dont want to order the wrong ones so i dont have to take them to a shop to properly fix them to fit. anywho. these are the sizes that were given...

These will fit all 4 corners not sure what the hub size is or means.

from what i understand the hub sizing is the hole in the center of the rims

Yea i know about the bolt pattern. But ima purchase a set of wobbly nuts and give them a try. Worth a shot so i can widen my wheel selection and yea i searched for that but the search button isnt that great.

The wobbly lugs intrigue me but several on here have said it's mandatory to use metal hub rings and not the plastic ones with them. Machining aluminum isn't cheap.

The aluminum rings are common and cheap. Under 20 bux a set normally.

Yea thats what got me interested. When i saw wobbly bolts for euro cars i wanted to make my own but i didnt wanna ruin my car haha. As for the hub rings i dont think i really need them. From what i understand theyre mainly to line up the holes so its easier to bolt them up. But thats just me. I dont see another purpose haha

No no no, think anout it more. If the bolt pattern was correct, they would not be as important. But since the pattern is off, you need them to keep the wheel centered while you tighten all the lugs, bending all 5 studs evenly at the same time. if you don't use them, you could end up with the wheels mounted off center and it will vibrate badly and could cause other failures.

Use them, period, end of story.

Yea i understand that but i cant see why i cant slowly tighten each till its fine. But i guess if its safer and i dont like getting hounded on by not "properly" doing something. I know its just 20 bucks.

Its up to you, and I'm sure its possible to 'fudge it', but the rings are a simple cheap way to do the install 'correctly', why try and half-*** something as important as this? If somethings not quite right you could break a stud or crack a new wheel, or worst case lose a wheel while driving and possibly injure/kill yourself or others. Its a no brainer.

Think about it. The wobble nuts entire point is allow them to change the their alignment. As soon as you do that, your lugs are no longer locating the wheel. So now whats locating the wheel??? Nothing. You need the hub rings if you use wobble nuts.

as for getting the proper sizing for that its a 70.3mm to a whatever hub size rims i get right?? so lets say a 70.3mm to a 72.6mm?? that would be correct?
yea i guess i wouldnt want to kill anyone haha and like you said i guess 20 bucks for extra security isnt too bad of an investment
