GOT JB WELD!!! Fixs everything
This stuff is great. STEEL IN A TUBE MAN!! I once had a hole in my exhaust and now that hole is the strongest part of the assembely. GM decided to use plastic on the electric hatch huh? Well that broke. JB weld fixed it right up. My Dad tells me he used JB weld on a cracked engine block!

I've been using JB Weld for years on stuff. Most notabel use I can think of is fixing the hole in my power steering fluid resevoir.

Hey folks, I found something cooler the JB Weld. It might not be steel in a tube, but it's coooooollll no less.
That's right safety tape !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The guy who sold me my car used it on both sides of the cracked block. He failed to inform me of that. A couple days later it cracked too and all the water and antifreeze went everywhere. JB Weld will work, for a little while.

Another good place that the JB Weld stuff works well is on a AFPR. I have the accell (ripoff) version that I paid $80 a few years back. About a week after install, while adjusting the timing, I broke off the little nipple where the vacuum hose goes off, what a POS. I found out that JB weld was the easist and most cost effective way to remedy this problem and the regulator's been fine since. JFYI
I guess it could have been the size of the fix too. My cracks were all along both sides of the block on the back water jackets. That stuff would hold until it got hot and then bust. I even tryed to re-jb weld it so I could drive it some. It never lasted more than 20 minutes. I just replaced the block. Now it doesn't leak anything, and I know isn't going to all of a sudden crack. I agree there are plenty of great uses for the stuff, but I will never use them of engines again.

Hi guys,
JB Weld is just an epoxy. So keep that in mind.
An even better mending adhesive is Quick Steel (also an epoxy). It is better in that it is hand formable (it has a clay consistancy). You can create shapes with it. It is fantastic for cosmetic repairs, etc.
