I get most of my stuff from summit, and I think they only carry a couple(JET and Mallory). What are you guys using? Has anyone heard good or bad things about the two summit carries? Also, anyone with a similar setup as mine(in the sig), what fuel pressure are you running at? Thanx for any help.
How hard is it to install one of these any way? Don't you need to get a fuel pressure gauge too? Is that all you need? Thanx again.

I have the Crane AFPR, bought it from Jegs for around $45. It was the cheapest one available at the time, probably still is. I've had it for a year and half and I'm happy with it. I already had my intake off when I installed mine so it was easy, Crane also includes a torx bit to remove the screws which some brands don't come with. I think all you'd need to remove is the TB and plenum and you should be able get at it. I'm not positive though, it's been a while since I had my stock TPI on my car.
You will need a FP gauge. My FP is set at around 50psi right now. I haven't done much tuning yet though so I'm not sure if that's where it will stay.

I got the TPIS afpr and the gauge. I had no problem installing it and it works fine for me. I like their gauge because it is flexable and long.
Check out their site at www.tpis.com.
I know their price is higher than others but I didn't have any problem, and I have read other post who got other types and had problems adjusting the screw.
Good Luck!

I got a Holley one and the quality looks to be very good. However, I do have one questions. How the hell does it work?
It doesn't have a screw, the entire top piece spins. How accessible is that gonna be on a SuperRam? Any ideas on why it's like this would be helpful. Maybe it's just too obvious for me to see, but it looks like it'll be really hard to reach.

Just put a Crane on the Formula yesterday as part of the 305>355 project. The adjusting screw hits the plenum. It's coming back out.

i have the tpis afpr and in my opinion ,it is garbage, the vacuum part breaks off very easily.

Brian is correct, the screw that comes with the Crane AFPR is too long and will hit the bottom of the plenum. That might be a problem with any AFPR though, no big deal just hack off about a 1/4" from the bottom of the screw and voila. Just make sure you do it before you install it though. Yet another reason to buy a super ram, rather than being under the stock plenum the AFPR is now behind the SR and I have plenty of room to adjust it.

the TPIS is nice....the vaccum thing does come off sometimes I have seen. But TPIS backs there stuff...I called them when it happened to me and a few days later there was another brand new one for me...did not even want the broken one back..that is all good
Jegs has them too....800-345-4545

I have a TPIS, a Holley, and have tried the Accel AFPR.
The TPIS threaded vacuum tube needs to be adhered to the body with red locktite or it will vibrate loose & cause a vacuum leak. It is fairly easy to adjust with a small open end wrench. The TPIS does not come with a diaphragm.
The Holley unit has a large diameter disc that is very easy to adjust, compared to the other two & fits under the plenum. It is less expensive than the TPIS unit & comes with a new diaphragm.
The Accel unit (6 years ago) required an allen wrench bit to adjust & was very difficult to adjust. I also had a problem with the pintle jamming over the pressure release orofice while adjusting at high spring pressures & caused a fuel pressure gauge & isolator to pop. The Accel unit was the cheapest on the market at the time & came with a new diaphragm.
The Hypertech unit does not come with a new diaphragm - even though a tech @ a mail order company may tell you it does...........
