1982chevycamaroz28: Hey, that's exactly where I HAD my tach! Now sits a more accurate oil/temp mech gauge. I love that spot, so many options to use it for..

heres a set of them after I put them on my gauges. They look pretty good. Except I have the 305 and my redline is at 5000....these are at 5500 So I'll just have to remember that. But I do think they look better than stock...Also being that my car is white. they'll go with the outside.

whadda think?

I also painted my needles red. They were white. I just used a red sharpie.

Oh and when I was pulling the speedo needle it broke on the shaft so luckly I was able to super glue it back to the same place it broke off. I hope it dont come flying off as Im driving, it shouldnt as theres really no force on it...

im not really sure which B&M shifter i have but its for a th350 or 400 tranny and if i bring the shifter all the way back i can hit it as hard as i can with out the handle spinning around and it will shift into gear. i just need to find somewhere to try it out to see if it works like it should.

yea i emailed the guy with with a shot of my guage and well so far nothing back from him yet. dunno if he's makin them or what, i hope he is

yea i put my tach there becuz well its empty space and also my friend that has a 90 irocz 1le has an Autometer monster tach not the autogauge like mine, he has his there also.

heres a picture of them in the car. Its a crappy pic due to the darkness. They look a lot better in person and alot brighter. I'll take a better picture of them tomorrow in the daylight.

I added some red bulbs in the dash but also left some whites in there to ...

one more. I like them alot. My interior is black and gray and there was just to much darkness in there so putting these in gave my interior some brightness. They look good. Like I said they go excellent with my white exterior.

yeah we do have the same wheel. I addes the "bowtie" horn button I didntlike the GT horn button, made me feel like it was for a Mustang or something. I like it alot better than the stock wheel. My interior used to be red also like yours but I changed it all to black and gray.
Yeah they were easy to put on and they were stickers but the derections said to wet them and then once on the faces you can slide them around to where you want them to stay and then let them dry and puch the air bubbles out. I'd be careful taking your needles off as posted numerous times, I broke my speedo needle but was able to glue it back in the same place that it broke.
No they dont have KPH. but it does say KPH were the stock ones do.

Next on my list is a Megashifter...Im trying to liven up my interior. Then I'll get me some SFC's...then who knows what else.

Here is a little trick I came up with while doing the white face gauge overlays on my pickup. I just used an old fork to pry up the needles and it worked really well. I've done about 4 sets of these on various vehicles (not 3rd gens) and have never broken a needle. The fork allows you to put even pressure on two sides of the needle and pop it off easily.

Thats exactly the way I did it too. It wasnt actually the needle that broke it was the shaft that the needle goes on. It was just on there so tight that it snaped. Luckly the break was not clean so I was able to line it up the same way it snaped off.
