White face gauges from EBAY???
There is this company selling white face gauges for 82-90 Camaros. Those are stickers that you put on over the existing gauges. Has anybody purchased them and how are the to install.
Go and chech it out....

I made mine out of cheap computer paper even threw an autometer logo on... hehe (just wanted something until I finally win the lotto to buy a set of autometers) I'm happy with them... though some are starting to peel around a few of the cut outs (Mile OD) still not that bad just small bubbles. All in all I liked the cost (FREEBIE!) .
Besides it looks better with having all white faces than having 2 phantoms and black faces in the dash.

Wishmaster: Can you explain the install procedure?? I have never done anything like this if i would decide to get them. I have had the top of the dash off to replace the speakers there but that's it! Is it correct that you don't have to take out the whole cluster??? Do you just take out the goofy lil screws and then the clear part? I think they look really good!!

I also made mine myself. I used high gloss, quality computer paper and had them laminated at Kinko's. It really is quite simple.
Take your exsisting gauge bezal apart. The screws aren't hard to find or get to, and it comes apart very easily. The only crucial part of the whole thing is making sure you take note as to exactly where your needles lye BEFORE you pry them off. If you don't have a small nail puller, use two screw drivers on either side of the needle to slowly and carefully pull them up. Make sure you pull staight back as to not change the position of the needle mount. The gauges themselves can then be removed, scanned into your computer and photoshopped. Any color, any graphic, basically any customizing you want. And as they say "insallation is the reverse of removal". Just make sure your needles fall in the same place.

yes Im happy with them. They still look as good as the day I put them in. They have been in for the winter. We'll see how they hold up to the heat. They arent glued on they are like a decal, you have to wet them on the backside and then set them in place. When I took the needles, they were white and with the white faces I thought they would be pretty hard to see so I had a RED SHARPIE sitting around so I painted them while I had them removed. The red highlight goes with the little hints of Red in my interior. As far as taking out the needles, you'll want to use a fork to pop them off becarful taking them off so you dont snap the needle shaft as I did on my speedo gauge, luckly I was able to super glue it back in the exact spot.

I scanned my stock gauges myself, changed the images to white face and printed them out at kinkos as well. I spent like $18 for two sets... I also used a freakin red sharpie to color the needles, worked great and still looks good. I did less coats on the needles on the 86 IROC though, and they have faded just a bit. None of the gauges have pulled off or bubbled at all though. I glued mine on with a permament-glue glue stick.
The files for the gauge scan are probably still floating around. Somebody had them all in a zip with other files added in with different color sets, maybe an 85mph speed scan too (Mine were the 145hp units).
If you have a 145mph speedo you may want to mess with mine: www.inter-scape.com/ray/stuff/mygauges.zip I recall doing a few last minute touchups to the images while I was at kinkos, can't recall if the ones in this file are the finals or not, just mess with em.
Note if you print them and they turn out too big the program you are opening them with is trying to convert the dpi from the 151 or something it is supposed to be down to windows standard 72 dpi. If you use a good large graphics program you shouldn't have a problem there (I used Fireworks, and Paintshop Pro I guess, and used Corel something to print them from at Kinkos...)
I was extremely happy with how it turned out, and I've had them over at least one summer now (I'm thinking maybe two) and they have shown no ill effects of the heat.
Only thing I don't like is they aren't indiglo at night I've thought of doing another set with ink that glows under UV light and running blacklight LEDs in the dash instead of the standard lights.... Not sure if that is doable though, have no cash to waste monkeying with it right now.

Someone recommended to me, and I would recommend the same, that you turn your key on, or start the car, and make note of the needles. Then do the same reinstalling them. I scanned and photoshopped mine. They look great. I printed them on Kodack glossy photo paper. I trial printed them on regular paper to make get the sizes right, then maxxed out the pixels to get the most clarity and did my final print.

I really would like to do this but I can't open up the link from above to get the file? Don't know why!!! Guessing cuz it's a zip drive?? So If I did get the file someone from someone else all i have to do is get the correct size and print out on a glossy paper and install?? Is this the same for the gauge cluster also or just for the HVAC?

.zip is a zip file not a zip drive. Here's a link from download.com for winzip it will let you uncompress (unzip) the files.
