Congrats man! I'm glad it's finally ready. I'll definitely consider it on my 91 Bird. Awesome notchback. I bet there is some way to make that back glass removeable . . .

Nice work.. Man, what a blind spot, though.. I can't wait to see a couple pics of it painted. I also wonder if it would look alright painted black even on a non-black car (sort of looks like tint..). When you get a chance, can you take some pics of what it looks like from inside (like as if you were sitting in the drv. seat?).

I guess I can post your pics for you:

OMG dude your pics are huge. Sorry. Well, I'm on a dialup and it only took a few seconds, so I guess it's okay...

Did you get a real notchback hatch off a GTA and fiberglass it to look like that or did you make the complete hatch yourself?

I have been driving with the notch back for about a week or so. The blind spot is not bad, You notice it when backing out of a parking spot. Driving down the road you don't notice it. TA88 We found one in a junk yard and changed it to what we thought looked good. I think it looks better then the factory one. Just my thought.

I like it because it follows what was the glass outlines.

$2000 to replace the glass, moldings, and spoiler.

Or....
Under $1000 for the GT-AA notchback painted.

I hope State Farm goes for it.

BTW which struts to use now and what is your warranty?

Our local club's webmaster has a 4g style hood on his GTA and I was impressed with the quality.
