I need some input!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, my cousin gave me this z-28. Love the car, it's a lot faster than my trans am. I wanna put a cowl hood on, probably the 2". Anyone have any pics or have one? I'd like it to FUNCTION. Also, i like the iroc style spoiler/wing? Looks to fit with the car well. I'd also like to find a body kit also. Someone help me find some gun-metal wheel? 17" would suffice. I'm going to install shorty headers w/ a new Y pipe, remove the cat after inspection, and then install GMMG's chambered exhaust. Good move? Motor will get dressed, then pulled and painted while im away at basic this summer. Any other mods anyone can think of? Nothign needs to be replaced b/c it's in great order, then undercarriage looks like it's off the showroom floor. After all this is done, and the window tint is in, i'll either paint it the original gunmetal, or possibly black, but i hav eBAD luck with the black cats. Lemme know what you guys think, I dont wanna install any of this stuff if it's no good. I'm still DEF deciding on a hood. Ram air, ss, or cowl, all of which must function.

My car has a Cervini 2" cowl hood. The fit and finish is good, and it would be easy to make up an airbox to seal to the underside to make the ram air functional.

As far as a body kit I'm not a fan of rediculous aftermarket kits. I do really like the stock stuff that came on the '91-'92 cars though. They have the four post wing and the rocker air vents on them. Eventually I would like to add these items to my car. They are a bit pricey new, but it's all still available from GM.

I'm planning on running ZR1 wheels at some point in the future. They are 17s and can hold up to a 305 on the rear with minor modifications. They can be had in chrome or silver.

You will probably want to rejet the carb after the headers to get the most out of it.

Black cars look great when they are clean, which is never. Trust me I have a black '67 Mustang. After I was it it's clean for like ten minutes and then it has dust or pollen or lint or something on it. Stick with the gunmetal you'll stay sane longer.

Its jest my oppinion but the ram air hoods look like crap on camaros. id go with the big block hood or the cowl.

I agree.. the 2 or 2.5 inch cowl looks sweet. I have a 3.5 inch from VFN Fiberglass but I think it looks too high. People tell me it looks cool, but I can hardly see over it.
