Aftermarket Aerospoiler

I have the original GM wrap around wing, BUT its completely cracked and ruined. Anyway, I was offered a brand new aftermarket wing, same exact style, but its fiberglass.

Anyone know if it matches up properly and looks good?

I have a fiberglass replacement made by a company called "All SPorts and Imports" out of Florida. I believe it is now the same wing that is being marketed by several other firms.

The one I got is a 98% perfect fit. It looks a zillion times better than the old, foam rubber wing. It weighs almost nothing, your hatch struts will work like new again. It is expensive, but not as expensive as an OEM wing if one can even be found anymore.

I can highly recommend the fiberglass replacement if it is the same one as the AS&I version I have.

I've seen Tom's wing. I am really picky about things sometimes, and the wing he has is really nice. If my wing ever cracks, I am going to replace it with one of those for sure.

I picked up a GTA spoiler at the junkyard a week ago. It was white and in imaculate condition. The car it was on was there over two months ago, but I didn't have the cash back them. I had some extra cash and went to the yard to see if it was still there. Lo and behold, it was still there. Guy at the counter asks if I was quoted a price and I said yeah, $125. He gets a guy to take it off for me and as I am walking to the counter with it the guy at the counter asks me again what I was quoted and I reply, $125. He says that that is too low for that spoiler, but agrees to sell it to me because I was quoted $125 and he agreed with the $125 when I was at the counter enquiring about the spoiler. So, I guess I got really lucky with this deal. Got the spoiler painted and mounted on my T/A. Only thing is, I don't have those little hooks on my rear window for the spoiler, I just used thin weather stripping so it doesn't rattle on the window frame.

Ames has one now too. I have the website at home. If I remember to, I will post it unless someone else has is handy.

The spoilers sold by AS&I, Ames, Year One, and all the other aftermarket companies are made by GT Auto Accessories/P & F Fabrication. The ones that I have seen are excellent.

Go to the GTA Source Page for more information on these excellent replacement spoilers; there is a link on the top of the front page. Just click on the GT Auto banner posted on top of the first page.

If you buy one, mention the GTA Source Page and get a special "GTA Source Page" GT Auto is offering to buyers who use the GTA Source Page for information..... Take a look for yourself.

Hey Yellow! That looks great, especially on your car... but I have always wanted a TA and with my wing. I love that wrap around wing. So, I'm gonna go for the fiberglass version of it... ttyl
