Spohn torque arms

I was just curious what kind of results any of you were getting out of your Spohn torque arms I just put mine on and will be heading back to track at earliest conveinence, what kind of 60ft. time improvement should I see. It usually runs 2.0's.

well , i installed them on my 89 formula 350 with steves relocation brakets , before this i ran a 9.7 in the 8th mile. after installing the arms and brakets i ran 9.4 i think that a good investment for under 250 bucks, and my tires feel like there on the road now nomore wheel hop , escicially frying the tires off in the rain,, i wont be getting beat by anymore station wagons in the rain steve makes great products

I installed the SSPE torque arm set to -2 degrees and SSPE relocation brackets. Also 16 x 8 w/245-50 tires instead of the prior 15 x 7 w/215-60's. Also a 3.45 9-bolt dposi disc swap for my 2.73 10 bolt open diff. I was dissapointed that I had no improvement in 60 ft times. But I am comparing a 98 degree day at Pomona to temps in the 70's at Famoso and 90's at LACR. But I did see an improvment of .05 sec & 2-3 mph in 1/4 mile. All times on street radials.

I change to Spohn's torque arm,LCA, LCA brackets,PH Bar and to 3.73 gears. On stock car and tires went from a 9.0's (2.0-2.1 60ft) good weather to 8.8's(1.93-1.95 60ft) in 100+ degree weather. Set you pinion angle right and enjoy. I am selling my set only because I am changing to a RACE CAR with a different trans and can't use it. I will be buying another Spohn torque arm for it.

We'll I went to the track this past thurs, and even with the 80 deg. temps and %95 humidity my 60's went from 2.0's to a best of 1.85 and got me to a 12.20, with the only change being the torque arm, and I'll probably be able to do better than that with some practice since that was my first time launching it with it on there. Thats the best performance mod I've done in a while!

Hey jeremy7777,
I hate getting my @$$ kicked in the rain by pos cars! I have a stock suspension and Im looking for better traction all around, wet and dry. What suspension mod should i do first? Thanks.

I don't know what to tell you about wet traction I think almost anything would kill me on wet pavement esp. with drag radials, the suspension mods that I have are no front sway, lca's, torque arm, and air bags.
