which engine is better for daily driver

Engine: LG4 V8
Transmission: 700R4
which engine is better for daily driver

whcih engine should i get for street, and daily driver.i am thinking about getting a 385 fast burn or ZZ502, or a 502 high output. are all of these engine come in a carb setup?my z28 has a carb engine. will i have any problems with these motors.will i have to change the hood or any thing like that.and also have a auto trans will it bolton these engines

Both will bolt to the 700r4, both will destroy it fairly quickly also. The stock trans isnt going to handle it. Moreso, the 502 is going to take out the rear too, if you ever find anything resembling traction. Not to mention you have the issues of headers for the 502 and more than likely a new hood. If you have to ask this question you probably dont want that engine. Go with the SBC, it will bolt in fine, use standard headers, etc. But you are going to be needing a new trans soon with it too, more than likely.

You might want to consider a Ramjet 350.
