I dont see how this could possibly look good, but has anyone tried one of these?

Actrully I have something simailier for my 82 Firebird. I finally found a good orginal center console cap on ebay two years ago. I now use the new cover to protect the good console cap.

I too want to see how well these things fit

There's something on the guy's ebay page that says he'll send you back $10 if he uses your photo in his ad. Maybe this is just a gimmick, but who knows. Just something to look into.

It'd be nice to know if that pic is the actual cap or an OEM lid. That pic is too low def.Perhaps he's trying to hide something?

I bought one of those 'caps' for my 83 last year.

Apparently I didn't read close enough, i figured it WAS a lid, but instead it was this dinky, 10 cent piece of plastic that only half-fixed my destroyed my original, and looked ghetto. More of a band-aid, spraying a turd with febreeze.

find an OEM lid, or get lucky in the boneyard.

I can't imagine one of these being very confortable to rest your arm on.
