I've never seen one on a thirdgen (in person anyway), but my cousin has one on his Mustang, and I've got to say, it's the nicest aftermarket fiberglass part I've ever seen. The fit, finish, and quality was outstanding. The only other fiberglass I've seen that looks this good are the stock 4th gen SS hoods.

I just bought a cervinis 3" cowl hood for my 92 Camaro at the swap meet in englishtown, NJ from cervinis trailer. They had a great show price on it. It is a extremely nice hood. Far better then the harwood hood i have now. Its a bolt on hood with no fitting needed. Its fully finished underneath it too not like the harwood hood. Money well spent. I can wait to get the harwood crap hood of and the cervinis one on.

Haven't seen their 3rd gen hoods, but put one of their hoods on my 99 f-150 about three years ago. Best aftermarket hood I've ever seen. Gel-coat finish on both sides, very little prep before paint.

any chance that you can snap some pics once it's installed?

I have a lousy fitting Harwood now that I'd like to replace, but one thing that's preventing me from doing it is that I really like the styling of the Harwood more than any other thirdgen cowl hood that I've found. I especially like how it extends back toward the windshield instead of stopping flat at the back of the hood. How is the Cervini hood? Does the cowl extend toward the windshield like the harwood?

Cervini def has some of the best fiberglass stuff on the market. My painter told me not to order a glass hood cause he would never be able to get it right...........needless to say he has put a cervini hood on just about every car he owns. Every part has been the same great quality.

My car has been sitting for about 2 years (due to lack of funds) with a unfinished Cervini hood sitting on it. The car looks like crap with several shades of primer. Yet I can still sit there for an hour at a time admiring that hood and how good it fits. lol

I had a no name brand 4" cowl on it before. It fit like crap. The cervini's fit amazed me. It's slightly more heavy that some of the other hoods out there. That's a plus though because it probably has less warpage as time goes by.

Click on the link, "LUVmy92"has several pictures of his hood before and after. His pictures are the reason I bought one. Mine is still in the box in the garage awaiting paint. Love the look.
