headers
I have hooker 2055. I had to keep emissions legal, they went in fairly easy and fit well as far as plugs and ground clearance go. I would have gone long tube if emissions were not an issue as well as ground clearance since it is lowered. I have installed edlebrocks as well and they seemed a little easier to get in and clear everything nicely also. hope this helps

is always a good thing. The Hooker 2055's are a great choice. Check the following link:

I have dart 165 heads, and I think that is my problem. It seams to pitch the headers up and out which makes the flang hit the firewall. The number eight plug hits one of the runners. I wanted to buy one last set, maybee ceramic just did not want to end up wrong combo again.

Your problem is that you used flow techs... there is a reason those are dirt cheap. Their flanges are machined like aluminum foil. If you get them on and take them off... you might as well toss them because they warp. They are kinda like disposable tupperware.... they can be used for a while, but then eventually you have to throw them away.

Just buy hooker 2055's they have insane quality and a legendary y-pipe.

I have Edelbrock TES headers with Ti-tech ceramic coating.
I'd recommend copper gaskets and split-lock header bolts on any kind of header. Have them on mine and haven't had a leak since putting them on. A company called Breslin makes the split-lock bolts if anyone wanted to know.

Anyone have the hooker 2210's they are a bit cheaper than the 2055's and are full length. Is that better or worse on a third gen?
