Check all your wiring connections

Re: projector headlight conversion
i checked all the connections and there fine. i heard that the headlights could be drawing to much power from the circuit, and that a new circuit breaker could fix it. or perhaps a new wiring harness.
Re: projector headlight conversion
did you change the wires around? if you notice in that diagram they have to be rotated basically i had the h4 conversion which was the same thing i now have HID's and they are awesome

Re: projector headlight conversion
When do they flicker? On hi or low beam? If they do it only on hi-beam, then it is likely that the "drawing to much power" assessment is correct. I had the same issue when I converted to H-4 headlamps. You need to rewire to pull directly from the battery--otherwise you will eventually smoke your headlamp switch. APC has a harness for this, and there is also a "how-to" in the tech articles if you want to do it yourself. The APC harness has breakers with it, but I recommend you also install a heavier gage power wire with a maxi fuse in place of the what comes with the APC kit--I burned mine up in under 10 minutes on hi-beam. Side benefits to this conversion include a brighter light regardless of whether you convert to H-4's or not. Hope that helps.

Article is in the Technical Articles section, go to www.thirdgen.org (the homepage) and then click on the "Technical Articles" link. Fuses can be bought at automotive supply stores, AKA "any parts store"

Re: projector headlight conversion
Where did you guys get your kits from? Do you recommend any in particular? Or are they just the square headlights you can get on ebay with h4 bulbs?
