no reason to buy that without replacing the torque arm instead. Get a stiffer tubular torque arm to reap the benefits

yea i already got a stiffer tq arm, im really thinking about getting this, the way my trans is built it shifts so solid it was tearing up rubber trans mounts, so i went poly on the trans and tq arm, now the next weak point is that tail shaft

Your always one step ahead of me. I was going to post this, also because spohn has a spherical mount for theirs as well. Woot Woot. Good idea but Spohn already has it..
P.S. UMI and Spohn are equally #1 to me, just Spohn makes alot more. And now in custom colors.

My problem is I have a UMI Torque Arm and a Spohn driveshaft loop on a stock crossmember. The new UMI relocation crossmember trans mounting does not look like it's going to work with my Spohn driveshaft loop. And I need to keep the loop. So I sent Ryan a e-mail asking him if he is going to make a compatiable driveshaft loop in the future. If not I will be selling the torque arm and driveshaft loop and will have to purchase the Spohn unit like krisb410 did.So be watching the classifieds!

My bad, forgot UMI makes a identical type of torque arm and is also cheaper in price than Spohn. So looks like I may be buying one if a driveshaft loop for the new location crossmember is not a future product.

UMI's crossmember mount arms like kris posted are also made a bit beefier than spohns, with a better material choice for the crossmember. Im sure it weighs a little more, but its a tough piece.

Actually just the torque arm relocation kit is different then the Spohn piece and the tunnel mounted arms we already make.
The main reason for this piece is a lot of you already have after market torque arms that mount in the factory location such as our's, Spohn ect. So instead of removing the torque arm completely and replacing it with a new torque arm and mount this item allows you to use the torque arm you already have. This item will work with the stock torque, all our torque arms and virtually any aftermarket set-up. So if you already have a good adjustable torque arm but want to mount it off the tailshaft of the transmission... this item is for you!
