TBI looks more like an electronic carb. TPI is completely differant. Someone once said that it looks like a spider humping the intake manifold.. I personally like the way TPI looks, but it is expensive to upgrade.

I just read the post again, I did not take it the right way the first time. 52mm and 58mm throttle bodies are for TPI only. TBI is measured at something like 1 5/8"s factory, I could be off, but aftermarket units are around 2". Holley makes one, GM does also if you can find one from a 454TBI, I think you will need to port the manifold match the larger TBI.

52mm or 58mm TPI throttle bodies will not work for a TBI. The stock TBI throttle body is 1 11/16" in diameter, I think... You can get a GM 454 2" throttle body, or a Turbo City 2" throttle body, or a Holley 2" throttle body, all for TBI.

I have a Holley 670tbi for sale and I live right next door! I'm asking $200 for it. I also have a brand new matching Holley TBI intake for sale.
