ebay tpi engine???

ive been trying to put a 350 in my trans am for awhilebut i want a clean one with about 300 to 350 hp. could i build one for about 2500 to 3500 or should i just buy one i found on ebay for 3995 thats uper clean all polished with ecm and new parts. here is the link

That is a TON of money for a TPI motor!!! You could just about do an LS1 swap for that!!

Really? how much would i been in it for an LS1? i thought it takes like 8 10 grand for a LS1 swap

being alot of companies have gotten on board and are producing stuff for the LS swaps, you can do one for about $5500-7000 roughly. the more folks you know parts wise nand help wise the lower the cost.

where could i find a nice ls1 for cheap or is 4500 for one good price? thats what seem they go for here In sacramento ca

being in cali is going to make any swap much more difficult than the average. if you want an ls1, you are going to be better off buying a wrecked 4th gen. you need to have proper emissions equipment for the engine, along with limiting your choices to passenger cars only (as opposed to the more economical truck engines a lot of us swappers opt for).

check the bay area, LS1s are everywhere in the bay area and so cal. im in sac also.
