Most of the hard plastic/mousefur covered replacements are usually made by the same company IMO.
If you can find a OE board and recover it.
If you have a naked or un-repairable OE board you dont have many options!
Where can you get matching fabric with foam backing like factory to recover and OE board?
I just redid my '90 in grey and have enough for another car if you want to buy it. car had been in storage for 25 years and my old headliner was in very good condition, just starting to sag, so I was able to get a good comparison on factory -vs- what I bought. can't really tell the difference other than the stitching of the visors. got it from a place in Oregon - SMS Fabrics.
got to thinking about this more this morning and thought I'd see if the part numbers matched across the years. not finding headliners in the trim section of the book. The carpets, and other interior pieces seem to be the same but nothing on headliners. I'd venture a guess that ever so slight variations may occur due to dyes and machine defects/setups that didn't get caught over production runs at a minimum. I've never ran across this question before. Most of the low mileage cars I've seen in photos are usually newer than 86 - even some of them have had the headliner replaced. heat/humidity/wind get to them - the foam gets brittle over time and breaks off from the glue and crumbles or turns to dust.
