You don't need to order the lid too. It already comes with one. Now I have an extra.

Damn....there goes $17.

The cost to ship, restock and whatever else would cost almost as much as the part itself. So I'll keep in case the lid cracks.

what else besides the box?

i'm wanting to purchase the airbox only from the slp cai kit P/N: 21015.

do i need to buy anything else, like P/N: 21021 or P/N: 21017 to have it work on application (89 trans am). (these are extended wiriing harnesses for the vac. can and MAF)

not sure where there's room for the vacuum canister or if the MAF is moved when just putting in the box.
anybody have some pix with just the box?

thanks!

I have a 1988 Formula 350. Just ordered the box. Bought the vaccum hoses and extended the wiring harness as I placed the cannister in the nose. There is a brace there that I hooked up to with a LARGE hose clamp. In there tight and out of the way. You can see the brace thru the opening where the latch closes for the hood. Not hard to get to at all from underneath.Using the stock air passage hoses and fits perfectly on the box. MAF stays where it is.
