Does anyone agree with this opinion
whats up everyone,
I know what im about to say makes no sense to this column but what the hell. I know its 2001 and the TPI injection is a thing of the past. But just once i wanna see a show on TNN such as (horsepower T.V ,CrankandCrome, or others if there are to do a project on a third generation camaro. Basically im tired of seeing people getting rid of the TPI and putting accel's rams intake it just looks awful. Car Craft, Super Chevy aint helping either. When are they gonna get it stait that there are more third genertion drivers out there than fourth generation camaros and for once just show a performance project on third generation camaros... (phew sorry i had to let that out)

Car craft just purchased a Third Gen TPI car, so hopefully they will start putting out some good articles on it. Even they admitted that FI was something they didnt know much about. But how many issues before we get pass the airfoil, ice on plenum, 52MM throttle body, ported plenum mods?

Yeah, it seems they either do that or bolt on a blower or nitrous. Anything to sell something. They never give any good free advise, just bolt this on, bolt that on and it will only hit your wallet for $4000!
Face it, those smiley boys on HP TV don't have a clue what they are doin' At least the old shadetree gave some down to earth testing even though now (Crank&Chrome) are getting into the bolt this on bolt that on BS.
They should have a show on about junkyard performance part finds and how easily they are modified to fit our cars. (Like cadillac rear disc brakes on a 3rd gen)

WOW i thought i was the only one. I totally agree with all of u. Im tired of seeing iced plennums air foil lowering tire pressure k&n filter in other word a bunch of nonsense. For one i just want to see them install an intake manifold for the TPI not accel ram intake those look awful, install pulleys headers, exhaust work the heads rockers anything but the regular parts that my sister even knows. I dont know about u guys but im getting sick and tired of the pro touring pony project. What a garbage. Crank and chrome all they do is freakin truck and suv's leave that to trucks(the show) and lets see a freakin TPI already. Sorry i had to let that out. Im feeling a little better but ill feel alot better till i see any article about modifying a damn TPI

I totally agree...unfortunately these shows will cater to what sells in the automotive world nowadays: SUVs and imports.

i couldnt agree with u more. Oh and by the way i hopefully got through to horsepower t.v and sent them an e-mail advising them to put more 3rd generation camaros and less of that pro touring project. I also belive that their ratings should also go sky high once theres a tuned port injection in the works.
By the way have anyone u guys ever see an episode in the past in horsepower t.v where they worked on a Tuned port injection.

Yeah! I remember that one with those ridiculous chrome rims and BIG tires. They couldn't even get a burnout out of it at the end of the show!!!
