u.s. wheels

i was searching summitracing.com and i found rims called "us wheels". they are prcied much cheaper than the other rims i've found. do these rims still have quality or does the price really represent their quality? does anyone have any feedback on these rims?

I just ordered the series 97's for my camaro and got them in the mail just last week. They are fairly well made although i can't say as to how long the chrome plating will last! But for about $200 i had a new set of cool looking wheels in about a week! The only thing i didn't like is the lack of variety. Your limited on the wheel and backspacing combo's. But.....Thats only my opinion. Your money, your car! Hope this helps

they rust and rust and rust and rust. Even the tire shop I deal with didn't like them even though they made good profit off them. Apparently, without that clear coat they don't stand up very well. The owner showed me a trailer that was outside which hadn't moved in 4 months on the side of the building and told me the rims were around 9 months old....they looked like those rims off an old bronco that goes 4x4ing.

i have clearcoat spraypaint, both the heat resistant kind and the regular. spray a couple coats of that on, and you got really kick *** wheels..... but, does anyone have them? are they just crappy quality besides the lack of a clear coat

well the chrome looked crappy to me as well. plus they weighed a ton since they were all steel not aluminum.

Well to make a long story short the chrome looks good, but won't last a summer if that. They do weigh a ton! To really sum it up, u get what u pay for. I haven't heard anything about anyone cleatcoating them, but it would be benificial. If your like me and they are mostly for track then u have a cheap set of wheels that will last a couple of seasons if u keep them in a garage! I personally like them for what they are...Temporary racing wheels! Although the weight is a bit of a hassle.

I have the 75 series ones. had them for 1.5 years already and they are looking good. Ok maybe 1-2 tiny rust spots on a wheel but thats after 2 winters. Havent done anything special to them, just washed and thats it.
The pic is taken in the first winter but nothing has changed!
