Cool resource. Oughtta be pinned somewhere. Could help answer some guys' questions about what to do with a build.

Makes me feel good. I've been guessing my 406 at about 420 ft-lbs and 360 horses, based on build and my highly tuned "seat-of-the-pants dyno."


But trying to do comparisons with the downloadable spreadsheet there, it would appear that my power guesstimates are low. How low, I don't know. But low. Maybe as much as 50 or 60 ft-lbs. and 30 horses. There's a build in the chart that's almost identical to mine, except it's a 383, and its torque number is 426. That alone would suggest my torque is at least 450 ft-lbs. Wow! Wish there was an affordable dyno service around here.

im sure you can work around the fuel injection, there is so much info now and parts these days to upgrade your fuel injection.
