Classic industries
Hello all my fellow third gen drivers. I've been a mechanic for 5 years and i was wondering about this company based out of Huntington beach California. I'm not sure about them cause i don't know any one who has used them so any options would be nice

Re: Classic industries
I bought some Springs and other Misc parts from them, and got the parts right away and was what I wanted. Yes, they are a little pricey on some things. I get a catalog from them about every three months. Good parts book. The have a lot of Camaro parts.

I just got there catalog for my 91 GTA cause im not sure what im gonna need. I found this car at the used car i work for, not a lot is needed but there just small stuff. like who ever had it before had the valve covers intake badge and the air fillter duct all painted yellow. So all that i need. It has leather seats but there all craked and ripped so i need to replace them. thats all ive found so far.

Re: Classic industries
I happen to live but a 20 minute drive from them. They do have original parts from the factory as well as reproductions which I have found to be just as good. Their customer service has been great to me. They also have almost everything for our cars. Order with confidence with these guys. They won't give you grief if by chance they send you a wrong part and you need to return it. I can attest to that.

I just purchased a new set of power switches for my TA. Their price was cheaper than everybody. Fast shipping! Grant you some things are higher but their parts are top grade. I've done business with then since the 90' never a problem. Just my 2 cents worth.

Re: Classic industries
WARNING! Stay away from "Classic Industries" They do not back there products. Every part I purchased from them for my project has faild just pass the warrantee. I need to replace all the weatherstripping and interior head liner after 2 short years. The head liner was the upgraded plastic backed version. There response was "It should have lasted longer." But they didn't seem to care.

Re: Classic industries
Exactly!!! Their OER products are junk too.
Brand new armrests, these are 5 minutes old after installing, pulled on 2 times! Torn! They are too small, look at the indentation in then door panel from the ORIGINAL pulls. These are junk, complaining doesn't help, they simply don't respond.
JUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I guess these should have lasted longer too. Still have the other side in the OER packaging also, wonder what to do with it. It's certainly a lot crappier than the 30 year old original part.
