Customer Service & Appreciation ... Check out ACC!!

Guys, just wanted to give a quick shout out to Auto Custom Carpets, Inc. (www.accmats.com) I ordered carpet from them for my '92 Z28 convertible - Even saved 20% with an online incentive code.

After seeing how great the product fit, I picked up the phone afterhours and left a V/M for them to say how happy I was with the entire thing; Price, ordering, shipping, installation ease, quality, etc.

When I got home today, there was another large box from ACC. Inside was a dove gray set of complimentary floor mats and some other promotional items. Also, a handwritten Thank You card, thanking me for my kind words.

I didn't know ACC existed two weeks ago, but they've just become my primary supplier of all things carpet. Thought it worthwhile to share with ThirdGen as well. I couldn't have been happier with how I was treated.

ACC is a very good company. Previously I was a retailer for ACS, and when ACC bought them, I was a bit nervous about what would happen. The switchover happened without issue, and the ACC folks that I deal with have always been great. In the rare case where my customers have had a problem, ACC was fast to fix the problems for me.

Jim, that's key - No supplier is perfect, and a good way to rate them is how they respond to those moments where something isn't to spec.

Eric, don't have the invoice in front of me. Seems it was around $270 base, or just over $200 once the 20% incentive was deducted.

The floor mats make it look even better. I would have eventually bought them from ACC, but now I don't need to. But no doubt I'll send more money their way in future.

Re: Customer Service & Appreciation ... Check out ACC!!

I originally bought my carpet for my 86 TA from them about 4 1/2 years ago. Quality and fit was excellent with the exception of my poor trimming job haha. Still looks awesome and now that I am restoring my car, I'm going to need a new one since I kind of hacked my old one and trimmed it too short in a few spots. I will most definately be going through ACC for it, and maybe I'll even order a set of mats while I'm at it.

Glad you had a good experience with them!

Funny thing about the mats ... I didn't mind spending money on the carpet, but couldn't see spending $100+ on nice mats. I know it sounds strange!

So not only were the free mats a nice reward for what was a simple V/M on my part to say thanks for the quality, they also look great in the car.

Now that I've seen them, I would spend the money next time as part of a new carpet purchase. But thanks to ACC this time, I won't need to.
