great products and prices. especially their relocation brackets for the LCA's and adjustable Panhard bars.
shipping is VERY cheap, and products came very well packed and pretty quick.

Re: Founders Performance
Quick question. I just ordered the same kit from Founders also about 4 days ago and my order still at "Awaiting Fulfillment".
I sent them an email on the site asking for expected ship date so I can plan my weekends on some work, end links, shocks, panhard,etc... with no response.
I was wondering is this normal for them or is pretty quick shipping about two weeks. No big deal but did not want to complain unless something is out of the ordinary..

Re: Founders Performance
Its not uncommon for companies to "build to order" I've delt with it and its worth the wait. Founders stuff is a lot cheaper than say UMI or BMR's suspension pieces

Re: Founders Performance
Yeah my plan is to do that as well but I have some other things up front to fix first, (guy I bought from mig welded the header pipe to the exhaust at all points) so a little mess to fix.
Anyway back to topic. I figured it might take a while but just wanted to confirm... thanks

Re: Founders Performance
I hate to question the quality of parts that people do seem to be happy with. But how are the Founders parts compared to a place like J&M Products at hotpart.com?
I was looking at the LCA Relocation brackets for $47 vs $80. For 60% of the price, are they 60% of the quality too?

Re: Founders Performance
So far just having them in hand. The quality is way better than oem, not something I would use on a 1/4 track, but for a daily driver / a little fun I would say it falls in the mid-range class of performance quality. Plus it is made in the USA so they get my business..

I ordered the LCA, PHB, and relocation brackets. Everything came in well packed and shipped fast. I got these a couple of days ago. The hurricane stopped me from being able to put them on! I can't wait to put these on the car see how much different the car feels. Thanks to Founders for not breaking the bank!

Well I have had mine installed for a solid month now. Handling is significantly better over stock. So for the price, and the gain over stock very impressed, now I wish they would make some SFC and tower braces...

Re: Founders Performance
Sorry but at the pricing we have we don't have any profit left to offer sales. Our hard material costs have been rising lately and we are doing everything we can to keep our pricing the same.

Hey Founders,
Any chance on a strut tower brace or sub frame connectors?
P.S. Love my panhard bar and LCA's.

Re: Founders Performance
Brian do you care to explain this situation for us?
Maybe hotpart would care to explain why they replied to a remark about Founders. Oh wait...I already know the answer!
It is because hotparts.com/J&M & Founders.com is the SAME company! Yep. Same company, 2 different names & 2 different prices for the SAME items! So is hotpart is talking down on his own company?
LCARBs
$47 from Founders Performance.
$80 from J&M/hotparts.com.
Why a $33 price difference for the same item?
Strut mount
$170 from Founders vs $218 from hotpart/J&M. Why a $47 difference? Different bearings?
Looking up the URL registrations you will find:
FoundersPerformance.com is registered to
CROUTCHER, BRIAN sales@foundersperformance.com
Founders Performance LLC
hotpart,com is registered to,
Croutcher, Brian brian@hotpart.com
J&M Products
Anybody can verify this for themselves by looking up the URL registration.

Re: Founders Performance
I recently purchased the LCA's and PHB set up with rod ends. Product was awesome, the only issue I had was the spacers were not the offset style as shown on their website. I contacted them about it and they had the correct ones to me in the mail within 2 days. Awesome to do business with, and will be buying more from them in the future!

Re: Founders Performance
Interesting to say the least. However, I don't know if that would stop me from ordering from them. I did check out LCA relocate brackets from both Founder's website and J&M and the particular item was the same item number, 23881R but with vastly different pricing. One was about $48 and the other about $90. That is quite a discrepancy. Makes me wonder if the cheaper ones are blems or some such thing. For a 50% discount I can put up with a little paint problem, heck, the things are underneath the car any way and one trip down the highway can scratch the jabeezus out of 'em.

Re: Founders Performance
i have a question. is it really worth the price difference from founders and umi? i matched up both brands with the same parts and founders is over 350.00 cheaper than umi. (panhard relocation kit, on car adj panhard bar, on car adj control arms, control arm relocation kit, and camber plates). any thoughts?

yeah, its called OVER paying. Founders are a great company that make quality parts, being that they are new and cheaper, people think they are sub-par. they are not. UMI was at one time, the only game in town for a few selected parts and their prices show that.
Now im not knocking UMI, i have bought plently from them in the past, I think compaired to Founders, their quality is just as good, so why pay more for the same quality? that, then, comes down to paying for the name.

Re: Founders Performance
yea. i bought umi's new k member and tunnel mounted torque arm with crossmember. i might have to buy founders rear suspension and camber plates to save almost 400.00

Re: Founders Performance
What bothers me about Founders is that it is J&M/hotparts.com, just operating under a different name.
Why the 3 different names & 2 different pricing schedules, for the same parts? That being said...I probably will still buy the Founders parts, I just wish there was a little more honesty. Selling your same parts for half the price under a different name doesn't strike me as honest business.

Re: Founders Performance
I'm happy with the PRICES. It isn't a "new" company. J&M/hotpart.com simply created a 3rd business name for themselves, Founders, & is selling the exact same parts for half their price. "Gimme $50 or $100 for this & that will tell me which company name decal to put on it."
