Not a surprise but I just wanted to give a big thumbs up to Lon and Top Down Solutions! I wish TDS had more parts that I need so I could do more business with them. Highly recommended! I placed an order on Tuesday morning and had parts Thursday morning! And that's from Cali to Bama! USPS deserves a little credit too for the quick delivery.

I have bought several things from Lon. Very fast shipping, easy instructions, great transactions. He's even helped me over the phone. I tried getting on his site today, and it says "account suspended" ????

 

My site may be offline for a while. My web host is forcing me to update the software. My web guy attempted an upgrade a couple of weeks back, but there is a glitch. The version of oscommerce that is one rev newer will not work with my USPS shipping module. The newest version of oscommerce is still in beta release and not ready for prime-time. I may need to use another payment module along with the new oscommerce upgrade to solve the problem. In the meantime, I'm still here. Give me a call to place your order.

Oh good. I thought TDS went out of business when I couldn't get The website to pull up. I need a few things.

 

Ouch, taking down the site can kill rankings, links, etc... Next time have your guy create a new install on a password protected subdomain then all the testing can be done there. You could call it beta.top-downsolutions.com or what have you. You could also try changing hosts that are a bit more amicable to oscommerce. Though that is going to get harder and harder these days. Let me know if you need host recommendations or even slightly better ecommerce solutions.
