Camaro Central (Bottles are in)

I am contemplating ordering the washer and overflow bottles from this site because Ricks Camaro no longer has the windshield reservoir. Any thoughts on this company ?

Re: Camaro Central

Service was good, but some of there items are from outsourced vendors, I ordered a pair of ttop sun visor and they took about a month and a half to get to me due to manufacturing company being located overseas.

Re: Camaro Central

OK, I ordered them today. The guy on the phone seemed nice enough and even returned my call with information on the product. He said both were in stock and should be here in 3 to 7 business days.
We will see

Nice! Those coolant and washer tanks can really make it look shabby under the hood.

Amazing how just changing a few plastic bottles can make a VERY big difference!

Re: Camaro Central (BOTTLES ARE IN)

As far as changing them the only problem I had was with the stock overflow bottle bolt that sticks through the wheel well.It kept turning from underneath. The darn plastic that is supposed to hold the bolt still on the bottom of the bottle stripped and I had to slowly pull the bottle off leaving the bolt behind. You will see what bolt I'm talking about when you get the new bottle. The washer tank I don't use so no fluid in there.

Side note = It's kind of funny how it seams that front turn signal/parking lights and washer/overflow bottles can be the last things that are changed when detailing our cars yet make a huge difference.

Re: Camaro Central (BOTTLES ARE IN)

It been almost 3 years now.

It funny you ask at this moment.
I just used a wet rag and gently whipped them off with a tiny bit of Dawn dish soap then with a clean wet rag and they cleaned up almost like new.

There heavy duty tanks. Not a cheap replacement. At least they were when I bought them.

One thing to mention is that my car runs in the 180* to 190* range.
The bottles are not subjected to the extreme temperatures that a stock setting of 222* to 230* would be.
I still think they would hold up really well.

A nice problem to have, Vs. the parts not being available. I'll need to change mine out some day.

I also changed my absolutely disgusting "Running Lights" with these.
Really makes the front "pop".
