ACC carpets

Does anybody know of any other place to buy carpets for our cars than ACC? My friend's gray carpet turned purple and my dad's black carpet has a purple hue to it. I am looking for a black carpet. I only need the front but if I have to I will replace both and it is almost stupit not to.

There are other places out there that sell carpet. Many of them just sell ACC carpet and use thier mname on them. Now the carpets that turned purple, were they from ACC? From everything I've ever heard. ACC is the best. :hail:

JC Whitney sells ACC brand carpets and you can usually get a 10-15% discount with a coupon from thier catalog. JC also carries other brands of carpet.

ACC:

It fades, it turns green or purple. I need to research a different vendor 'cause I wanna buy black or charcoal for my car

I had a "burgundy" (code 79 dark claret) carpet in another car of mine and it faded, and wouldn't even take some SEM dye, so it's worthless after a few years in the southwest. What's the point?

ACC is OK

I used ACC carpet in my Caprice SS - had it in for about 1 1/2 years with no signs of fading.

It DID however, have a little problem with 'shedding'. It was worst when it was new and decreased over time.

For $130 bux, it was pretty darn good.

I've used ACC for my replacement and couldn't be happier, i can vouch for the shedding........but, their rep said you will need to do a once over with a vaccum before install to solve that. i'm thrilled with it, better than stock.

It may not be the same as regular carpet, but I got a set or floormats that were better quality than original for my 87!

I would order from them again!
