The Holley AFPR will fit. Accel makes a fuel pressure gauge that gose right on the fuel rail valve.

It's a pain in the A!! to install and after you are done you'll wish you had gotten a mini ram but I really wouldn't have wanted anything else.

For gods sake, slot the plenum to runner bolts. I learned the hard way the first time i put it on.

-install the lower manifold
-install fuel rail and injectors
-slap on the runners
-put the plenum on WITHOUT the lid
-start each of the bolts by hand from the bottom
-then use a small flathead screwdriver to snug all the slotted plenum bolts from the top (16 of them)
-tighten all of them down with a 5/16" openended wrench from the bottom
-Then bolt on the lid

Just by slotting the bolts you will at least cut install time in HALF, and save your knuckes

I'm thinking about the getting the SR. I heard you can stud the plenum? would this help.

Also , what kind of gains over a modified LTR set up did you notice?

Thanks

You can stud the plenum but I think you will find the best way is to slot the screws as stated above. I noticed gains across the board but especially up top.

To really help with the plenum bolts.. You use a Box end just as a guide the bolt must spin because you are going to place and use your slot to run the bolt in..

I liked the SR but it was a PITA. I had an intake coolant leak and said WTF. I said its coming off once and for all. I took it off and sold it. lol I put back on my ASM runners. Yea I lost some HP but I refused to put it back on lol.

I had a hard time with my STB on it, It was wedged against my wiper motor and cracked it. TV Cable was at an extreme angle and the tranny would sometimes shift weird. Had a hell of a time with the injector harness wires going to a few of the injectors.

I also drilled out the center 4 bolts and used bolts, lockwashers, and nylon nuts to hold it together. I couldnt even get my finger under the plenum let alone a wrench and a bolt.

With the LTR's , TF Heads, LPE219 cam and 383 I put down 318 HP and 424 TQ at the wheels. I am sure with the SR I'd be about 30 HP more and some less tq. My car is in the mid 12's now with the LTR. I'm not going to change anything now. Got what I wanted lol.
