Bolting Coil Bracket onto Intake Bolts (stealthram)????

i have a 1991 z28 that had the TPI and now has a stealthram. i would like to mount my coil using the two center intake bolts on the passenger side...

can i remove those two center bolts (intake has already been bolted on), bolt on the coil bracket, and have everything hold up and seal correctly?]

TIA

what I did with mine was I turned the mounting holes into grooves and all I have to do is loosen the two rear intake bolts and then just slip the bracket under the bolts. Yes this breaks the seal on the bolt but I havent gotten around to getting some custom studs with a nut on it

yes, it will work, but you're better off getting some studs for the application.

coil bracket

You can grind the coil bracket out in between the bolt holes so it will clear the hump in the stealth ram and then it will fit in the stock location and be out of the way. Thats what I did.

abray1, you are correct. I forgot to mentioned that. I had to do the same thing.

well i ended up mounting it onto the firewall above the heater box...i wanted to put in on the intake but it just looked too cluttered so i put it elsewhere.
