Proper head for a ramjet intake

Hey guys,

I wanted to ask here to get a general consensus on a head that would work well with a ramjet tpi manifold

I know they take a Vortec pattern, and I know they are limited when compared to other setups, but its what I have, and Im looking to make the most of it.

for instance will these ( http://www.jegs.com/i/GM+Performance...34446/10002/-1) work well, or is the runner to big?

Any recommendations?

Thanks

Jason

I took a set of 80.00 junk yard vortec heads, had a cousin port them for me. He does it for a living at a race engine shop.
They work well.

My favorite Vortec

I would go with smaller runner unless you want to go to track.

+1 on the Edelbrock E-Tecs. I'm run a set of E-Tec 170s on my 406 and it runs really well. Tons of torque.

If you're interested in selling that Ramjet intake to get something else, let me know.

Those heads in Jegs link has a 225cc intake port. Too big, unless you want to run a 6500+ RPM 383.
