Huge Combo Page.... Thoughts about EFI
So I have seen this page around for a LONG time. Way before I could ever afford any kind of fun car. I am finally getting bored with the stock 305TPI LB9, and I thinking about getting my feet wet by building a motor on my own. I have tons, tons, and more tons of things to learn. I understand the basics entirely, but when I comes to the why and how.... I might as well be blind
.
I figured I would trade this link out for some input on swapping the carb off over to EFI (HSR, Miniram, etc) on these referenced combos. I know its vague, but what are the general thoughts. Increase? Decrease?

Re: Huge Combo Page.... Thoughts about EFI
Exactly.
Some of those combos go back to 1990.
Modern tech advances mean you can prob make same/better power with current state of the art smaller , better flowing heads and smaller cams
The science behind engine building is still the same though.
Decide what you want from a engine ; buy parts to compliment each other.
Biggest mistake first time builders make is using mismatched parts; big cam in stockish motor for instance =crap
Just because Joe racer has a 1050 Dominator carb , doesn't mean it will work on your 305
